Hi! I'm Jayna
Born and raised in Nashville, TN, I am a true southern girl! I have always had a love for event planning even at a young age. I must admit I had some pretty rockin birthday parties! And then of course what girl hasn't seen Jennifer Lopez as "The Wedding Planner" and wanted to be just like her! I truly knew weddings and events were my passion when I planned my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary wedding. From not letting one detail go unplanned to celebrating an amazing love story I knew this was the path for me.
While getting a communications degree from MTSU, I worked under a super talented wedding planner and designer in Nashville. She showed me the ins and outs of planning and design and how to take an idea on paper and turn it into something amazing! After moving to Birmingham, I decided to start my own business. In 2011, Jayna Goedecke Events was born. Over the years I have met so many great couples and have had the privilege of being their planner. I am truly invested in every couple that I work with and want to make sure that their day is perfect! I am extremely organized and sometimes add things to my to do list just so I can mark them off!
When I am not planning fabulous weddings, I am a wife and mom! My love story began in 2006 when I fell in love with a boy on the beach. We got married in 2011 and moved to his hometown of Birmingham to start a family. We have 2 beautiful children Ava (4 yrs) and Alex (2 yrs). Being a mother is the biggest blessing and I am definitely guilty of getting teary eyed every time I see sweet moments between mother/bride & mother/groom knowing that will be my babies getting married one day!
